5/17/11 - I'm happy to report that half of the Depiction Under The Obscure Seclusion
CDs pressed have been sold! Thanks so much to those that have purchased the album!

4/28/11 - Depiction Under The Obscure Seclusion digital downloads are available!
Its a little earlier than May, but I've got them so I'll post them.
Links to them are in the merchandise section!

4/17/11 - The album is complete!
Depiction Under The Obscure Seclusion is the title of the album.
Wallpapers and ringtones have been added in the media section.
Since posting an individual track wouldn't give an adequate impression of the remaining tracks,
and posting multiple songs would literally by half the album,
I'm planning on adding a 10 minute "sample track" that will feature music
throughout the Depiction Under The Obscure Seclusion release!

4/13/11 - The 4th song is DONE at a little quicker pace compared to the other songs
recorded in 10 days (which doesn't count additional writing)
All 4 of these tracks have a together running time of 39 minutes.
I'm thinking of doing something a little different....
I'd dislike the term "filler track" to be the name for an additional song
but I don't have enough writing material left for a 10 minute epic
and 39 minutes is a bit shy on what I was aiming for on a total album length.
(and 50 minutes is overdoing it a bit)
I'm thinking of doing an ambient track as an intermission between the 4 main songs...

4/3/11 - Got a 3rd song done, FINALLY, which has a running time of 11 minutes!
All three tracks together have a running time of 29 minutes.
I'm thinking two more tracks should cover it.... and I have enough material to do that.

3/21/11 - Things have been a little hecktic on a personal level,
but I'm still working on the new material when I have the time to.
(which unfortunately is an hour here, an hour there)
The 3rd song is coming along well, and hopefully should be done soon.
I'll try to do what I can to post here more often.

2/26/11 - Two tracks are complete for the tentative 5 track full-length album.
A few new distributors have been added that carry Hguols merchandise.

2/15/11 - I have been working on a 4th Hguols albums starting the middle of last week.
This will be a heavy release, but a few things will be different to the typical formula.
Longer songs (5 tracks totaling around a 50 minute running time),
more structure variety (separate black metal and symphonic parts),
and death metal elements will be integrated into this release. (solos and beefy riffs)
No release date, name or artwork is available at this time, but more will be revealed at a later date.

1/31/11 - The Maunstraut CDs and shirts are now available!

1/13/11 - The Epitome and To True Supremacy shirts are once again available!
Starve the Flesh had a short hiatus with band shirts, but they're back now in the merchandise section!
The Maunstraut CDs are being pressed and should be available by the middle of next week!

1/4/11 - The Epitome and To True Supremacy shirts are no longer available.
A new printing company/contract is being sought....

12/27/10 - The Celestial Powers Intervened To True Supremacy release is available
at a few distributors, and coming soon to a few others. You can also purchase this CD directly from me
in the merchandise section, without going through a distributor.

12/4/10 - The Maunstraut digital release is now available!
Links to get it from iTunes and other stores is in the merchandise section!

11/19/10 - A logo for Dakr Gremmil Studio has been added to the site.
Also, there will be a digital release available for the Maunstraut album.
Limited pressing to a album with so much potential didn't seem to do this release justice.
The Maunstraut album will be available December 1st via digital distributors.

11/8/10 - The Hguols site has undergone a facelift.
Along with new artwork by Lion 7 Design, new information has been added to
the biography and links sections. I am also announcing that any future Hguols CD albums
will be released independently by Dakr Gremmil Studios rather than Barren Meadows Recordings.

10/24/10 - The third weekend in June 2010, I put together some new Hguols music.
It is A slight change of pace from the project's typical music formula.
The site has been updated to announce the upcoming Maunstraut album.
This release will feature 4 track from Epitome,
4 tracks from Celestial Powers Intervened To True Supremacy
and 4 original tracks, all orchestral versions.
12 tracks total, 8 of which completely redone to fit an orchestra format.
Three tracks and two ringtones have been added in the media section.
Wallpapers and site overhaul will be coming soon....

I am uncertain as to when or even how this release will manifest itself.
It will most likely be a CD exclusive limited press,
available 1st quarter 2011.

10/20/10 - Hguols ringtones are now available! Currently, there are two ringtones
from the Celestial Powers Intervened To True Supremacy album.

10/7/10 - Added another distributor that carries Hguols CDs. Distributors will be added soon
who carry the Celestial Powers Intervened To True Supremacy release.

9/17/10 - Well, this project has had a "mission complete" status for almost a month, with the release
of the sophomore album. Currently, I'm interested in getting a few more reviews for the
Celestial Powers Intervened To True Supremacy album. Any zines, eZines, blogs, etc. interested
in reviewing this release, please contact me to get a promo!

8/26/10 - It's a little early, but the Celestial Powers Intervened To True Supremacy CDs
are now available for sale! They can be bought from the Barren Meadows Webstore.
There is also a special offer there! There is an option to purchase both Hguols albums for a total of $15.
(instead of both albums for $10 a piece)

8/20/10 - The Celestial Powers Intervened To True Supremacy CDs are in my hands
and the official pre-order is available at Barren Meadows Recordings!
The CDs will be mailed out starting September 1st.

8/9/10 - The Celestial Powers Intervened To True Supremacy is in pressing production now!
The CD version of this release is expected to be available early September, as planned.

8/2/10 - The split with The Mourning Dimension is cancelled,
but a FREE download single of "The Night Symphony",
featuring the Castlevania Symphony of the Night cover(s) song
is available in the media section of this site, as well as Barren Meadows Recordings.

7/19/10 - Hguols and The Mourning Dimension will be doing
a FREE download split for Barren Meadows Recordings.
TMD will be doing a cover of the theme from Halloween, the movie,
and Hguols will be covering songs from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

The True Supremacy shirt is based on artwork from the
Celestial Powers Intervened To True Supremacy album.

5/24/10 - A free to download single has been completed.
Reaver of Souls is two cover songs combined into one epic track!
The songs covered are the Playstation Soul Reaver 1 and Soul Reaver 2 theme songs.
The finished track is 11 minutes long and available to anyone.
The free download is available in the media section of the site.

3/22/10 - Celestial Powers Intervened To True Supremacy wallpapers have been added to the media section!

3/21/10 - The sophomore Hguols album has been fully recorded and mastered!
The album is entitled Celestial Powers Intervened To True Supremacy and all tracks have been named.
The discography has been updated, and new songs have been added to the media section.
The CD release through Barren Meadows Recordings is estimated to be around September / October of 2010.
Digitial release of the album might be within a few months.

3/17/10 - 7 songs total have been completed for the sophomore Hguols album, which is yet to be named.
The running time for the finished songs is 36:40. The time goal for this album is between 40 & 50 minutes.
Depending on how the remaining songs turn out will depend on how many more songs there are.
(Probably two more tracks)

3/15/10 - Hguols Epitome shirts are now available at Starve the Flesh!

3/7/10 - Barren Meadows Recordings has announced signing Hguols, and also has the Epitome pre-order ready!

3/4/10 - The relationship with Hguols and EEE Recordings has terminated.
The said label has showed no interest in supporting the band,
nor compliance with the agreement made for the Epitome CD release.

Hguols has signed a contract with Barren Meadows Recordings and they will be releasing the Epitome album,
as well as the sophomore album at a later date!

3/1/10 - A contact form has been added to the contact page.
All questions and comments are welcomed!

2/22/10 - 4 songs for the next album are complete. One of which is an epic masterpiece over 8 and a half minutes in length.
So far, all the songs together have a running time of almost 23 minutes.

2/17/10 - Added to the links section a place on YouTube to watch videos.
Mostly, they're acoustic performances of the sequenced Hguols songs. More will be added over time!

2/14/10 - Gave the Hguols sites an overhaul. Special thanks to Élan for the photos!
(even though I made them look completely different)
The biggest non-graphical change is the merchandise section which is split from the media section.

2/10/10 - Two new songs have been completely written/sequenced/recorded, and the results are impressive!
No songs will be posted until the album's music is complete, named and arranged.
The projected sophomore album release date might be the end of this year or the beginning of the next.

2/4/10 - Musical notes and writings are being gathered for a sophomore Hguols album.
A production sample is available here.
(Please note this is not a clip from an upcoming song. It is purely a mix/production sample
of most of the instruments that will appear on the next album.)

1/25/10 - The Hguols CD is now available!

1/13/10 - The Hguols CDs will be sent for pressing next week
(between January 18th - 22nd) and the official release date will be the first week in February.

12/30/09 - Due to some technical difficulties for the CDs being made,
the physical release of Epitome is expected to be within the first few weeks of January 2010.

12/7/09 - The Hguols "Epitome" tentative release is for the last week of December 2009.

12/1/09 - The MP3s are not being sold for the time being. An account with CDBaby has been created,
and the Hguols Epitome digital album will be available via iTunes, Amazon and other stores later.

11/11/09 - The reviews portion of the media section is now active.

11/9/09 - Eric from EEE Recordings has told me to announce that the Hguols CD will be released December 2009!

11/4/09 - Designed a Hguols banner, and posted a code so anyone can feature the said banner on their site.
This is mentioned on the links section of the site.

10/3/09 - A shockwave player is added in the media section of the site featuring songs from the "Epitome" album.
This section is ideal for previewing the album if you abhor MySpace.

9/28/09 - Created a Tradebit account so anyone can use PayPal to purchase all the digital songs.
